  Tried calling my nurse practitioner nurse and she has been ignoring my calls for two weeks, I believe today she finally picked up when I selected provider to provider and she disconnected the call when recognizing my voice, I know they are not busy because I made an appointment at 8:30 and I felt like I should not of had to do that just to get a referral so I did not show and called instead. When I go visit the nurse practitioner he just prescribes medication not actually helping with any of the problems, hes dismissive and at this point I know he is just trying to make money. This is located in **********, Al. Don't go there if you want real assistance.

  Almost lost my wife there, horrible experience, one that we will never forget. I took my wife to Grandview Hospital ER in ******************, this past weekend for abdominal pain. Once in a room the nurses assumed gall stones possibly the problem. They administered Morphine for pain with only blood oxygen level recorded by the finger monitor. After about 20 min the Morphine wore off, she was in horrible pain, worse than child birth. I called the nurse to inquire about more or different pain meds. A nurse finally came in and administered more pain meds, this time ********. She pushed the meds in and left the room not to be seen again until the unthinkable happened, my wife stopped breathing. With no response to the low oxygen alarm I walked to the nurses station and asked the nurse to come check on my wife that something didnt seem right. The nurse rolled my wife over to her back, her lips were already blue from no oxygen. The team rushed in and gave her ****** to reverse the opioid that they have overdosed her on. Shouldnt they have taken in consideration the size of the patient and the time period from the last pain medicine administered. Why did I not meet someone in the hall coming to check on my wife for the low oxygen level?? Thank God I was by her side and realized something was wrong, what if I had been out of the room for any length of time, after 4 minutes brain damage can occur. I will not be going back there again, terrible to go from assuming a gall stone to wondering if your spouse is going to live or not, terrible feeling.

  My daughter has been going to Grandview medical ER she has had serious medical issues dma siliac disease she had to have her stomach rerouted and she goes to grandview hospital for these doctors not helping to fix the problem her Arteries are pressing on her her kidney causing her alot of pain her stomach is so swollen last night she went and this doctor ******************* was unprofessional towards my daughter talking bad stuff about her she heard everything it's really sad you to this hospital to seek care and can not get it she is now scared to go back this docters ******************* made her cry this is so wrong I want something to be done i will not stop until it's done my daughter needs to be fixed I want his name out there because these other patients don't go through the same thing very unprofessional of this docter i mean what kind of docters does this really thank you ****************

  Zero stars on Grandview Cardiology. Took my 95 year old mother in today and everything was excellent until nurse practitioner ******************************* ********** came in. She started off rude, short and snappy. I addressed her rudeness with no apology from her. She continued to be short rude, ugly and telling me she would not address the issue my mother was having while in the hospital and after release. She denied that my mother received meds while in the hospital that she indeed receive. She stated she would only talk about the heart after asking how she was doing. Finally I stated well get on with it so we could get the h*** out of there. She did not touch my mother and said we were finished and showed us the door. She also stated if my mother was that sick throwing up I should bring her back to the hospital. I reminded her they just released her in that condition. Now this is all because I ask for a prescription for zofran for throwing up. Same meds they gave her at the hospital. That woman is heartless and unprofessional and has the bedside manner of a jackass. Im a ********* and patient advocate. Easygoing and patient. She thought I was just her sitter because I was in scrubs. Unacceptable. My mother loves ***** and ***************** but this woman will never touch my mother again.

  I had a big surgery today. The medical dr here in the hospital cut my regular night meds in half and has not gotten me the least bit comfortable. I thought that was my right as a patient. All last week in pre-admit my meds were gone over. Also this morning. I will never use Grandview Hospital off Hwy 280 ever again ! Ive been up since 3am. Its 10:15pm. Once awake in recovery that it. Havent slept or had pain under control even a little. I would give 0 star if possible. Even nurses are not nice.

  I visited my primary physician Lashelle B****** 12/03/21, and labs were done. I received a bill for $****** in which I paid, but per blue cross I didn't owe the money. On my benefit explanation it states patient responsibility 0.00 I have called Lab First, who sent me the bill for a refund on two separate occasions, but to no avail. I would appreciate if they would refund me my money. I don't have an extra $****** to donate to the hospital.
