    On September 23, 2024, I had an unfortunate incident where my rental car was towed because I forgot to display my parking permit in the area where I live. This wasn't the first time I had parked a rental car without a parking permit in that area. It was quite inconvenient, but I tried to stay positive. I parked the car at 9:15 pm, and it was towed after 10 pm, which was frustrating. I had to pay $125 to retrieve it. I signed paper for disposition fee at HDC Towing to pick up my rental car.Despite this setback, I remained calm and informed the tow man that I lived in ******** ***** and that it was a rental car. The following night, on September 24, 2024, my rental car was towed again from the same spot. I parked the rental car at around 9 pm, and when I looked out the window at 12 am, I saw that it had been towed. It was frustrating because it was parked in the same spot as before, and the same towing company towed it.

    Approximately 9:45pm or so, **** **, 2023, our daughter went to a friend’s family-owned condo to visit. She parked in their almost empty parking lot, ran up the stairs to get a visitor parking pass from her friend to place on her car. She went right back down and her car was gone. A driver from HDK Towing had picked up and was gone with her car in the 4 minutes it took her to walk up and down the stairs and knock at her friend’s door. Her friend immediately took her to get her car and arrived as the man was locking the gate. My daughter explained she had went yo get a parking pass. The man would not let her retrieve her car without paying $125. I called the owner several days later, explained, and requested a refund. He said he would call me back the next day after he spoke with the driver adding his decision would be the final word. He called back saying he had spoken with his driver and another person who actually wasn’t there. My daughter said the tower was alone when they picked up her car. HDK’s owner implied. My daughter was lying. My daughter does not fly. She texted me at 9:58pm telling me what occurred. Her friend said her mother’s car has been towed more than once by the same company. I actually emailed the manager of the condominium where this took place. He said they have nothing to do with HDK Towing. HDK Towing told me that they were contracted by the condominium to toe for them. I don’t know whether he was lying or not. I do know I completely recommend no one ever uses HDK towing in ******* *******.

    Picked up a rental car only hours before since my car was being repaired. Have space in apt complex which is MY assigned space. Residents require a parking sticker to park there. No specifics on rental cars, but parking sticker was placed in automobile. Car was gone and then found out was towed. Tow truck driver contacted and was told that is MY space and can park there, plus a sticker was face up in car on center console easily seen. Driver stated he did not have time to check and should be on dash, but NO signage for this is present and the driver was shown the parking sticker was face up and can easily be seen. He did not care and had "his own rules". I told him I can show him bylaws of apt complex, but he did not care. Charged $120. I assumed driver would simply say this is a misunderstanding and apologise, but he did not and would not release car with the money, Police were notified and told civil issue. I have photos of proof. Driver also would not immediately give his name after 5 x asked and I assume is the owner.
