1 starI spent over 30K on patio doors for my home. I chose a finance program for no interest if paid in the time required. When I received the statement they had me on a different program than I chose. Had I not called the on that it would have caused a huge scar on my credit. then 2 of 3 doors were installed correctly, but the third was not done correctly. I have spent 3 years trying to get them to remedy this. 4 or 5different crews have been out and each given a different diagnosis. Getting them to return to actually fix it has been a chore as it seems it's up to me to ****** them for a repair. I have called numerous times and always get some apology and promise to remedy. I have spoken to people up the chain and get the same. Meanwhile 3 years later! still not complete. Finally, someone correctly diagnosed the issue (improper install) and fixed the issue. When they left, they state they now had to redo the trim and transition piece. Even still I am waiting. How can this even be possible? How are you going to make this up to me and at least finish what you started 3 years ago? If I could have gotten my old doors back, I would have done that and went with an Alaskan company. I would appreciate this being completed now.Renewal by Andersen of Alaska

2 starsWe had a quote done for 7 windows in June of 2023. We paid half of the cost at the time of the quote and were told they would be ready in approx. 3 months. Windows started to be installed in October. Due to installer error project not finished and new window had to be ordered. Told it would be another 3 months for one window. Window doesn't show until May. Install new window but still can't finish job due to not being able to cut trim parts. Next installer shows up in July finish job but has no trim to finish job with. Finally, installer shows up with trim in August 2024 to finish job. Emails to company management were responded to once and only once. Any correspondence attempt after August has not been responded to, still.I would not recommend this company due to poor management, organization, and exceeding slow product production.Renewal by Andersen of Alaska

5 starsOur home is so much more comfortable now that we have new, quality windows. Buying new windows for our entire house was a big decision. Our salesman, ******, walked us through the entire process confidently, helping us choose the best windows for the long haul of North Pole *******. Once we figured out what we wanted, **** did a great job of precision measurements to make sure the windows were to code and fit our house just right. ******* kept us informed during the entire process of ordering, scheduling and installing our windows. She made sure there were no surprises.The best part of this big project was our installers. ****** led his team, Kal and ****, professionally from day one. These young men were amazing, they work very hard and are quite well trained. Being winter, I was worried that the house would get cold, but they use a heated bubble so that taking out the old and installing the new windows felt comfortable. We had decided to add a window over a dark entrance and it was fun seeing them create the space for it.The bay window that I dreamed of for years is so beautiful. Our back sliding door opens with ease. My old windows would frost and make inches thick ice, my new windows dont. Im very happy to have a future without installing window plastic and wiping off mold when the ice formations melt. As they installed the windows in each room, we could feel the comfort level rise, the outside noise decrease. We had to turn the thermostats down when it was minus twenty this week because the warm air isnt leaking out. For the first time in years, our Thanksgiving guests knocked before our dogs started barking, because we couldnt hear them drive up.I hope to never have any problem with our windows, but if we do, the warranty gives me peace of mind. These windows are worth the investment. I wish we would have done this years ago.Renewal by Andersen of Alaska
