This place condones blatant discrimination, verbal abuse, and physical abuse in their establishment. Im an avid ***** HoldEm player and was a patron there for a short time to play their free poker games on Monday and Thursday evenings. I won the tournament multiple times over the course of about a year. I noticed the more wins I achieved several concerning facts started to trend. The man who ran the tournament and handed you your seat assignment starting sitting me in the same spot at the same table with the same dealer. This dealer was definitely cheating by marking the cards. ******************* who runs the poker game refused to discuss my observations with me and was verbally abusive with me on several occasions of which I did not respond to and walked away. ******************* was significantly intoxicated every time I played. Its my understanding he did receive a DUI charge after one of the poker games. I verified this by looking up public arrest records. Furthermore, ******************* slapped me at the table when he was dealing one evening. Again, I did not retaliate, but I did tell him to never lay a hand on me again. Finally, I was at another poker game at a different venue and ******************* who was no longer in the tournament was verbally abusing me and harassing me as I was still playing. I was able to ignore **** and I did win that tournament beating several of ***** make friends.I made a complaint to the manager at the other establishment the next time I tried to play poker at ****************** **** refused to give me a seat card but readily gave the man I was with a seat card. I didnt argue the situation and went to the bar to order food. **** told me I wasnt permitted in the establishment period. I hasnt done anything or said anything to justify ***** refusal to include me. **** had a strong smell of alcohol on his breath and he scared me. I immediately left. I made a complaint with the ********* Human Rights 03/2923 and they refuse to cooperate.
