I purchased a brand-new ***** Trailblazer in 2024, at the time of the purchase I was told the first oil change was free. I started get notification on the LED stating I need to get my oil change, I went there once and was turned away because they were to busy. I went back on 8 Apr 2025, that time they took care of me, however charged me $175.00. I informed the individual that when I purchased the vehicle I was informed the first oil change was free, his response "THAT OFFER EXPIRED LAST MONTH", that is nothing more than a bait and switch. Also, I've been getting low tire pressure warning (rear drivers' side) for months know, I've filled it multiple times. I've also told them about that Issue when I turned in the vehicle on 8 Apr 25. They assured me they'll fix and never did. Did they sell me a brand-new vehicle with defects ???Initial Complaint

I am filing a complaint regarding Chevrolet of South Anchorage (a Lithia Auto Stores dealership) in relation to my vehicle service contract (Platinum Coverage) administered by Assurant/Consumer Program Administrators. On 3/10/25, I brought in my 2018 Chevrolet Malibu for a covered repair. Per my service contract, I am responsible for a $200 deductible per repair visit. However, the dealership charged me $268, stating the additional $68 was for labor costs. My contract clearly states that labor is included for covered repairs under Platinum coverage. Additionally, the itemized invoice did not explain the extra $68 charge, and this amount was not included on the Assurant claim form submitted by the dealership. When I questioned the charge, I was told I had to pay or I would not be allowed to take my vehicle. Furthermore, I was told I am no longer welcome to bring my vehicle back to this location for service, which feels retaliatory and unethical. This conduct is not only contrary to the terms of my service contract but also raises serious concerns about the business practices at this location. I am requesting reimbursement for the unauthorized $68 charge and a formal review of the dealerships handling of contract-covered repairs and customer service.Initial Complaint

Im a 37 year old man, worked my whole life to claw my way out of poverty & last year I was finally able to get a Loan for the first time in my life. These people tricked me, sold me a truck with a bad engine with a known factory defect. Stating the asset was qorth $20,000 my first loan i had to pay $30,000 after interst. I drive for a living so i needed a reliable vehicle, what they sold me only lasted ****** miles and less than a year. I tried contacting them for diagnostics and they ignored me until alp my bills were behind the finally they let mw bring it in to find out the issed and quote repairs for insurance but instead they repossed it and stole my property from inside it. They defrauded me and my bank with a phoney asset, and commited grand larceny of my private property, engaged in a conflict on interest, are running racketeering schemes. Now I may end up homeless and they are trying to stick me $30,000 in debt with nothing to show for it and no way to pay for it on top of stealing in excess of $2000 worth of my private property. These criminals need to be shut down permanently. Their ****** and *** review show a massive perponderance of evidence of illegal and unethical business practices. I demand a full refund/ buyback and all of my private property returned. I have already contacted the *** and an attorney. Their scams are not just civil violations but criminal aswell.Initial Complaint

I purchased a pre-owned 2022 ********** from this dealership back in 2023. In June of 2024 I totaled the vehicle when colliding with a moose. When I purchased the vehicle I also purchased ************* FROM THE DEALERSHIP. My ************************** only covered ****** of the ****** that remained on the loan. Attempt after attempt by myself and my lending institution, ************ 1, has failed in getting the dealership to honor the ************* agreement therefore causing me late fees and penalties with ************ 1 and finally me deciding to pay the loan off out of pocket and then seek reimbursement from the dealership after the fact just to keep my credit somewhat in tact. I have the ************* certificate in the vehicle paperwork file proving I bought GAP for a little over ***** if my memory serves correctlyInitial Complaint

Dropped my truck off for service on little before 11-5-24. Wait is 3-6 months before it can even be looked at. They sold me a warranty that only works at there shop. So I have to wait when the other Chevy dealers 2 week wait. Im losing alot of money not having my truck. I tried working with him customer care and no luck of them actually helping me. So Im turning to bbb as my next step. Hopefully u can make the dealer make this right. Cause Im paying 1178 a month for a truck I cant even useInitial Complaint

Over 6 weeks ago my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 had a complete engine failure at 23K miles. I was told at the time the truck was towed to Chevrolet of South Anchorage that it would be 4-5 weeks before they could look at it and then an additional 8 weeks before the replacement engine would be delivered and then installed for a total estimate of ***** weeks. This is 3.0-3.5 months time for Chevrolet to repair my new and under warranty truck. I would like a Buy Back settlement so I can move forward instead of waiting 3 months in the middle of winter with out our truck.Initial Complaint

Aug. 28, 2024 I called Chevrolet South Anchorage dealership and requested an appt. to have my car looked at because it wasnt putting out heat. I told them I thought my thermostat might have gone out in my car and told them that I have an extended warranty. I had to get a rental car.September 10 I brought my car to the service department. I spoke to **** who said with extra vehicles from other dealerships it would be awhile before they work on my car and he doesnt know how long it will be. He said once my vehicle is looked at he will call the warranty people and that will take a long time for them to say if they will cover it. They do not provide loaner vehicles.September *********************************************************************** line before mine due to extra cars from other dealerships, my vehicle has not yet been looked at. I was transferred to **** and left a message requesting updates. September 17 **** called and said it is in the queue but he doesnt know when it will be diagnosed. He will check and call back. He didnt call back or text. I kept rental with **** September 20 I called **** and he said it still hasnt been looked at. September 23 I called Enterprise, they had a vehicle available. I rented one October 1, 2024 I called to check on my vehicle and a woman answered. I asked the status of my vehicle and she looked it up and said there were no notes on it. She apologized, said she would have **** call me. He didnt call. October 2 I got a call during the morning from **** that my vehicle was being put in a stall to have the diagnostic done and he would call back as soon as they know what needs to be repaired. He called and said it isnt the thermostat, it is the air filters and that that isnt covered on the warranty, thats regular maintenance it will cost me ****** for the filters and diagnostic. I should not have had to wait this long because this dealership allegedly overloaded themselves with other vehicles to repair.Initial Complaint

I purchased a used vehicle from ***** of South Anchorage and obtained an inspection prior to picking it up since the purchase was occurring remotely before coming to ******. I never received a copy of the inspection but was told after spending nearly $450 that everything checked out with the exception of the timing belt cover, which I acknowledged and understood. after picking up the vehicle, I went to have the tires balanced and was told that due to the cracking that they were also dry rotted and needed replaced as soon as possible. I requested a refund of the inspection or assistance in replacing the tires and have not heard back after an initial acknowledgment to assist. I am exceptionally disappointed and also experienced a lack of responsiveness regarding the *** registration and plates that they were supposed to facilitate but took numerous phone calls and stops by the dealership to get resolved. I would not recommend the dealership for any purchase or repair.
