BBB recently reached out
to the business with concerns that needed to be addressed by the business.
BBB found that a pattern of complaints existed concerning Leisure
Livings customer service. Consumers have advised BBB that when they contact the
business regarding refunds or replacements that their concerns either do not
receive a response from the business and when they are able to get a customer
service representative on the phone consumers have advised that they are
treated poorly by the representative.
Leisure Living did respond to BBB's concerns
with the following portion of their response:
On 03/04/14 this year we went live with a new complete system that handled everything from our order entry to our shipping. The goal of this new system was to strengthen our company as a whole. One of the new features was real-time authorizations to help prevent fraud and protect our customers through advanced security measures. Another was to streamline our order taking and help push this data as fast as we could to our warehouse to help customers receive their merchandise as quickly as we can. While the benefits of this upgrade were positive, our deployment was met with multiple bugs and glitches that slowed our business down.
We have been working on this issue since that live deployment date to overcome the various problems. As of this date writing this letter we are nearing the point of where we wanted to be months ago.
