Ordered a pool cover from them because it was guaranteed for 3 years and 5 years limited. When it arrived 2 of the metal rings weren't in the holes where they belong and After 1 year it started falling apart and they won't honor their guarantee.Review from Brian K

Be very careful dealing with these people. I ordered a simple pool float and it was missing some hardware. It was for a birthday party and couldn't be given as a present. I inquired about returning it and was told I would have to pay the shipping back as well as a 20% restocking fee AND, if the box were opened, they would reject it. Basically "TOO BAD SUCKER!!!" Lost about $175 on this deal. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. If there were less than zero stars, these guys would get them.poolsupplies.com Response

We requested a photo of the damaged/defective item. If we receive a photo showing the problem, we then could send a refund or replacement. We have not received the requested photo.Review from Kevin B

Terrible cusotmer service. I have seperation in my pool cover near the seams. Submitted warranty claim and they denied saying it is a tear. I feel like since the cover is having issues near the seams it is seam related. There are no other issues anywhere else on the cover so I feel like when the seams are formed the edges near it are damaged or thinned out by the process. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My solar cover is not quite a year old, it’s falling apart. Cuts and delamination 10” from the seam on each panel, 4 1/2 panels for my 18’ wide cover. Clearly a manufacturer defect, no way I could get each panel to fail in the exact same location running the length of the panel, 36’. Sent detailed photos to no avail, just like every other review here, they just don’t care, they have your money. Just because where its falling apart is not the seam, they refuse to cover it. Word of advice, DO NOT purchase from this company, Poolsupplies.com!! We purchased a ******* Blizzard Supreme Plus Winter Cover with Waterbag Kit for our 10x33 above ground pool which has a surrounding deck. The cover was supposed to be top quality but the quality is extremely poor. The straps to supposedly hold the waterbags in place are ridiculous. They do not secure the waterbags in place at all, they can easily be moved out of the straps. The waterbag material is so thin you can see the water in it. They are not worth more than a $1.00 beach ball. When we received it, we put the cover on and filled the bags with water only to find out 2 of the bags had holes in them and leaked water!! I emailed customer service and was told, as per their policy, no returns will be accepted if product is opened. Excuse me?? I told them how is one to know a product is defective unless it is opened?? It does not make any sense. Are people that ignorant?? I even offered to accept a replacement cover instead of a refund. I suggested they adjust their return policy to account for the fact products MUST be opened to verify the product is as stated. But once again I was told since the product was opened, they could not do anything for me. So we are out of $238.48! I thought Poolsupplies.com would stand behind their products but apparently once they get their payment they do not care if you are not satisfied. I will never buy anything from this company again! Purchased a 16' x 34' 1200 series blue solar cover in April 2022. Installed it in May but by July the bubbles were falling off and it had shredded in numerous places. We usually get approximately 2 to 2.5 years from most solar covers, so 2 months was a bit surprising. Based on the wording of the warranty, I've never bothered wasting my time trying to obtain even a partial reimbursement on any of the numerous covers, I've purchased. However, it would be nice to know if these are recyclable.poolsupplies.com Response

I had our customer service team reach out to start a warranty claim. We also contacted the manufacture in regards to whether or not these covers are able to recycled. They fall under plastic recycling code #4. It is best to reach out to your local waste and recycling program for guidance.Review from Patty A

Do not buy from this place. Bought a solar cover with 3-year limited warranty but it didn't even last 3 months. Solar cover started to tear and with the bubbles disintegrating in the pool. The seller refused to honor the warranty or to replace it. Save your money and grief and shop somewhere else. Worst solar cover ever!poolsupplies.com Response

I purchased steps for my Above ground pool. Admittedly I did not get them installed until a year after purchase. The steps on their website said the stairs are rated for 450 pounds. I way 340 pounds. When I stand on the stairs the stairs buckle under my weight. At this time the steps have not failed yet, but under continued use they will fail. When I called Pool Supply customer service they referred me to the MFG of the steps, ********* Plastics in NY. ********* plastics was able to confirm the "Tested Capacity" of the steps was only 300 pounds. I gave this info back to Pool Supply, and they told me I should contact the MFT for any "Warranty Information" I am sure the product is a good product for people under 300 pounds, and as the stairs have not failed yet there is no Warranty issue. This is just an issue with Pool Supplies not doing the research, posting the wrong specs on the product, then when brought to their attention they denied all responsibility to the inaccurate posting. Their Customer Service Representative was pleasant enough when responding to this information, and as of today I see the steps currently not listed on their website.Review from Jean B

They sent me a 3700pd busted up box that the pool is in i asked 2 send it back because of parts could be missing they told me it would cost me 500 i said well take it back and refund my money they said they would take the 500$ out of my refund plus restocking fee of 95$ I purchase 2 liners also of 1000$ or more and afters there fees i lost 200$ now there still charge 500+75 to take this damage box after ive spent over 3000$ with them and havnt gotten any money back and this was the 8th of june people want answer the phone they say send pics and they dont respond back ive been call for 2wks finally spoke to someone on the 20th and they were nasty and still have my money please beware of this place poor service no one helps solve the issue they make it sound like your wrong there right and keep taking money for different reasons
