    On 4/17/23 I contracted for 3 replacement windows and 2 replacement exterior doors w/storm doors. One of the windows was specifically to be an awning window. 8/29/23 the windows and doors are finally to be installed. The front door is wrong and opens the wrong way. The second door is too big for the door opening it is to go into. The doors do not get installed and are on reorder. NO awning window is received instead a double casement window is installed instead. Instead of a single glass area there is two narrow sections with a 5 inch wide solid portion of the window frame running down the middle. Instead of a single panel that opens out at the bottom, there are two panels that open out to the sides from the middle blocking any *********** and basically forming a window tunnel. I hate this window. I loathe this window. I would never ever everever ever have chosen to put this window in my house. It was verified in April before I signed that the window manufacturer made awning windows in the needed size. A substitution was made without my knowledge, permission, or consent when the awning window order was placed with the manufacturer.I have been MADE to pay for a window that I despise and hate every time I look at it. In four 4 months there was not a single mention of a change to a window or any discussion of what I as the consumer the person paying for the window would want if the awning was not possible.The existing window was out and this monstrosity was in before anyone said anything about a change.I have to wait for the correct doors to be manufactured before they can be installed. I would like a replacement window of my choice installed as I paid for. Not someone else's choice of what they like or think I should consider an acceptable window. If I wanted a window like this I would have chosen it in the first place.The final payment of $5000 will be paid once the doors are finally installed.

    In December of 2020 Siding Repair Systems was hired to replace two back doors for my home. A rear back entry door and a patio door was purchased through Siding Repair Systems. A deposit of $1,700 was paid to the sales person representing Siding Repair Solutions and a contract was signed agreeing to installation being completed. The sales person communicated it would be approximately 2 months before doors would arrive, roughly by the end of February. During the noted time, I had to call Siding Repair Systems inquiring about process monthly and often calls went unattended and messages not returned. The week of 06/01/2021 Siding Repair Systems notified me that they would be installing the two noted doors. Worker arrived on Thursday, 06/03/2021 and installed both doors. However, doors were damaged and craftsmanship was extremely poor to the point of either door not being able to be repaired back to factory specifications. During time of installation of doors, alarm contacts were damaged causing security issues to the home. Also, door strike pads, hinge mountings were poorly fabricated from the installer making the door a safety issue, screen door hardware was installed upside down, door casement was installed unleveled, no moisture barrier installed on either door as agreed upon, wrong door handles installed, screws protruding from trim, gaps in the doors themselves allowing an induvial to see outside and cool air to enter the home, cracked trim pieces, non-matching weather trim, screw holes around windows not filled in with caps, etc. . I understands that the job was not completed, however, due to the poor craftmanship, the contractor was terminated from the job to prevent more damage to the home and failure to follow basic directions. Siding Repair Systems had completed a previous job installing new soffits on the home in March of 2020. I did make a claim under 1-year warranty with the salesperson to have one of the soffits fixed due to poor craftsmanship. This issue has also gone unresolved for seven months. At this time, Siding Repair Systems has ghosted me as well as the salesperson and not returning phone calls to set up any type of reconciliation regarding this project. Communication is a constant battle with this organization and their ability to return customers phone calls or address any horrible craftsmanship.
