After I saw great comments from people all over ********* I called McCrea Heating and Plumbing. They scheduled and rescheduled many times. They then took three times as long to perform the job, and then I discovered they had only completed half the work. The city inspectors failed them twice, and they argued with them until they finally made the repairs. When they returned one of the times to add the exhaust pipe, they installed the flashing on top of the shingles and put the wrong sealer on it, which started leaking water into my home within weeks. Even when they completed the work, they left parts not fastened properly. I filed a BBB, and they stated we inspected all the work and signed the paperwork, so they refused to pay for the repairs. They even used one of the older work orders to state that they were absent that day. They even stated I gave them a 5-star review, which I did not. They must be able to manipulate their reviews.This company does not perform quality work and fails its inspections. They manipulate their review process, they refuse to take responsibility for their faulty workmanship, and I would not recommend this company!Review from Shelby

After reading many good reviews of this company I went ahead and called them out to give a quote to replace two existing showers with standard plastic kits (nothing fancy at all). I agreed to their ridiculous fee of $250 for having to drive 35 miles to inspect and give a quote, I was ready to accept a bid this same day since I needed this done asap. Unfortunately, I was completely taken advantage of, $15,000+ to do my showers. At that rate I would expect a fully tiled shower, but no, this was for cheap plastic walls. I feel because I am a women and that my husband was not there they seized an opportunity to rip someone off of their hard earned money. When I called to express my opinion before leaving this review, I was denied every cent I paid them. Stay far far away from these scam artists.I ended up accepting a bid for 1/3rd of the price from another highly rated professional plumbing company.

***********************,Just to make sure I am understanding we alerted you on the phone that there would be a $250 fee to give a diagnosis in ********* when coming from *******. You said yes to that. Then after we gave you our estimates on what it would take to have us give the level of service we pride ourselves on you decided to go with another bid. Which is 100% fine, then 1 month after our diagnosis appointment with you we get this review. I am sorry that you felt pressured because your husband was not home when we were there but I can assure you our bids would not have changed if he was. Also considering the only time you agreed to pay for anything was over the phone not when ************** was present at your home. I just dont see how I can discount or refund something you agreed to and we performed (the diagnosis fee).Review from Alisha S

My husband and I had a stove installed by them and it too them 3 week to a month to get it all installed and once it was installed it looked horrible and unsafe. Pipe wasn't screwed in and could come off everything wasn't level, the thermostat didn't work and they didn't use fire calking. When we called and complained they sent out their supervise to fix all the problems. He was there for a total of 5 hours and did the project right when it should have been done right in the first place. We called back to see about getting some money back for the crappy service they did and we were told that they could only give us $500 back on an $8000 dollar project! THEN when we asked to see the itemized list of what we are paying for they refused and told us they were doing a service and can not give us a list. They company is a TOTAL ripe off and will NEVER receive our business again. They are overpriced and dishonest and by far the worst company we have ever dealt with!
