When searching on Google for a local Cannabis Dispensary - I came across this as the top result: Urban Trend Dispensary Recreational & Medical Store. This rerouted to a website that allowed me to place an order for Cannabis to be delivered. This was paid for by transferring dollars into cryptocurrency. I also had to send a picture of my ID to verify being over age 21. No product ever received and they stopped responding to my attempts to get an update on my order. Their website says delivery within 30 minutes - 1 hour and they stopped responding within a couple hours of the order.

I searched "shop weed online by store" on DuckDuckGo to find sites that list cannabis products available at in-person dispensaries. The first search result was for The Pot Shop, claiming to be an online dispensary that ships to all 50 states. The site only accepts payments that cannot be reliably tracked, such as crypto and Western Union. The company address is fake; if you put it into Google Maps, you will find a long list of dispensaries and other businesses at similar addresses, but not a matching address (e.g. 5234 Thomas Avenue in Fresno, California instead of 5234 Thomas Avenue in Eureka, CA). There are Archives at the bottom of the FAQ page, suggesting that the site has been up since 2020. The oldest posts from July 2020 are nonsensical and likely AI generated. For example, one post falsely asserts that "the USA does not anymore prohibit the use of Marijuana or buy weed Online USA" after "Prime Minister Justine Trudeau" legalized it. Lots of red flags on this site; don't give them your information or money, and be wary of all sites claiming to mail cannabis in the US.

Then they said id recieve a refund in 30 days but it still says order processing on the website. They also stopped texting me back.

This business is presenting like a dispensary but it is a scam. You are forced to pay for your order before the delivery takes place. I either had to pay via PayPal or crypto. I had to place a minimum order of at least 100 dollars. They advertised a 30 to 60 minute delivery time. They were super communicative until I paid and I never received the product. I was forced to provide my driver's license and SSN for age verification. I paid $110 for 3 products I never received and they stopped communicating completely after payment was sent.

A fraudulent business listing is using my residential address online without my permission. The business, listed as Urban Green Releaf Recreational Cannabis Dispensary, advertises a location on Google Maps using my private home address. I do not operate any business at this address. Because of the listing, multiple strangers have travelled to my residence attempting to pick up purchases after being instructed to pay via Zelle. Victims have reported sending payment and then coming to my home to pick up orders they never received. This has caused serious safety concerns for my family and neighbors. I have reported the incident to my local police department and filed a report with the FBI IC3 and State Attorney General's office. I have also submitted a Google Business Redressal complaint to remove the listing. I can provide screenshots of the listing, and security camera footage of strangers arriving at my home upon request to investigators. Please list this as a scam and help warn others.

The guy under the name Brayden ******** scammed me and my friend out of $** last night around 2:30 am. He is advertising as a 24hr medicinal cannabis company that offers delivery/pickup service (Green Weed Delivery Recreational Cannabis Dispensary). We call him (this is the # (214) 244-0648) and had first agreed upon paying half of our order ($**) through Chime and we would pay the additional half ($**) once the product arrived. He gave us an ETA of 2:55 am and claimed he will send his delivery driver to deliver the product. Once it was 3:00am, we hadn’t heard back so we began to call “Brayden”. About 10min later, we receive a call from a completely different guy.

This new guy begins requesting us to send pictures of our ID and our medical card. We tell him we will not send him a picture, and instead he can see it when he arrives. He becomes very agitated and requests us to send him a “refundable fee” of $*** if we can’t send him a picture of our cards. At this point, Brayden is no longer answering our calls and blocked our numbers. We call from an alternate number, and Brayden begins to threaten us, claiming he’s “going to shoot us” and to “bring a bulletproof vest” if we try to come to the company address. This is insane and honestly a little scary. It has been difficult for us to get our refund back, but we at least wanted to report the incident.

While on a road trip across the US, I looked up "dispensary near me" in Google Maps. Green Shop/Green Cannabis Dispensary came up directing me to a very official looking website (greenshopdispensaries.com). On this site, like other sites, you can pick and purchase cannabis products. The process was very sophisticated, they offered various payment methods. I chose MoonPay as I had money in Crypto. This scammer site used MoonPay to finalize and pay for the product. I received a confirmation email, again very officially looking, letterhead, company logos, etc. It was later I found out it was a scam. I want to inform people so this doesn't happen to anyone else. The website is still active and needs to be shut down immediately.

I went to a dispensary website, and when I clicked on website it brought me to green Cannibis Co. When I selected the item I wanted it brought me to the payment screen. I wanted to pay by Venmo but didn’t see the option so I clicked on the SMS to chat with the company. Someone. Replied and provided information on how okay through Venmo. So I proceeded that route. Then a link for Moonpay populated. I verified who I was on that application using my SSN. I sent payment. After the payment was sent they sent me a screenshot of my selection and then they requested a copy of my ID to verify my age before they delivered the product which I sent. Then it became fishy. They sent a separate link stating that Minnesota law recently changed and that I had to complete a legal consumer application. The application fee was $299.99 and they stated the full amount would be refunded upon delivery. I was in the process of doing so though Apple Cash but my iPhone advised of the potential scam so I stopped. They tried saying that it’s a security measure for Apple and to approve sending the payment to the number they gave me. I proceeded to call the number on the SMS message. A man who sounded foreign like Somalian stated they can’t finalize and deliver until I make the payment. I advised of the feeling of a scam and they tried to reassure. After 6 minutes of conversing suddenly they stopped talking. They also never text me back.

He told me they were opening up a second round of investment opportunities just for initial investors but that I could get in under his name. I had just received back pay from disability and was scared about finances so the opportunity sounded like something I couldn’t pass up. I had also suffered a brain injury in 2020… this happened in 2023. He always had an excuse as to why the paperwork hadn’t arrived, his lawyer was working on it, it was on its way, etc… I finally asked for my money back and he dragged that out for months. He finally told me he’d meet me at my bank with my money but to no surprise, he was a no show.

These scammers attempted to run bait and switch play for not only my personal identifying information (Driver's License, Home Address, passport style photo "for verification"), but they demanded additional payments under the guise of "recent changes in state regulations, requiring legal consumers to register", when asked for clarification on this, they promptly ignored the request for documentation citing this claim... They "required" customers to register with statemmcverification.com (suspicious site), and an additional payment of almost $300.00 which would be "refunded in cash upon delivery". Immediate red flag. These people need to be held accountable for scamming so many people and phishing to take advantage of newly established legislation in states offering recreational/medical cannabis, preying on any uncertainty. A class action lawsuit is in order for these scumbags, clearly they will keep continuing to operate these predatory cons until something is done to stop them. Just because cannabis is still fighting for legal acceptance state by state, doesn't give these people the right to take advantage of folks as their local communities work hard to legalize and offer access to safe and legal dispensary options. So I’m online searching for a medical dispensary and I came across this website green island dispensary that say they are located in Chicago which is not far from my house so the website and address looked legit and so did the reviews so I end up calling spoke to the boss etc. he was nice helped me placed my order and payment and sent over the drive number and order now my package was supposed to arrive in 19 mins which was cool so upon getting my order they never showed up and then decided that I needed to pay a extra 70 dollars because I didn’t have my hard copy medical card but I had a pic but then I called the boss back and he ended up blocking me I so I called the drive who was supposed to be dropping off my order we spoke but he tries to get me to send pay 70 more dollars which when I knew something wasn’t right asked for a refund and reached out multiple of times from 3 different phones and they just blocked and I even reached out told them I was going to report them and ask them to send it back which they did not and they ended up blocking me so now I have no way to reach out to get a refund like it’s too much I’m reaching out to u guys for help to resolve this and take them down delete all the online fake store fronts they have.

Im out of state for a conference. I live in Utah but noticed that Virginia has recreational cannabis. I have a med card for Utah and make online orders in utah all the time. An order was made through the website, and the website works a lot like other dispensary websites I work with in Utah. I tried to make a payment but for “some reason,” I couldn’t get it to work. So, I contacted the seller through the sms chat and they directed me to pay through Zelle. I wasn’t totally thrown off by that because in Utah you can’t pay debit for cannabis, you have to use dutchiepay or something like that. So it didn’t set any red flags there. But, then the seller told me I needed to sign up for delivery insurance according to state law. I looked and it was going to be a “refundable” $399 charge that I would get back as soon as the delivery was complete. This is where I stopped and told the seller that this wasn’t right. They said it was state law and I would get a refund. I told them that was absolutely not a thing. I didn’t hear back after that.

Suddenly they dont pick up your phone call. After about an hour, you will get a msg from delivery guy saying he can come to you now, and wants your new location , additional charge of 30 dollars. After we figured out he couldnt even confirm the addy and saying the wrong address, they blocked our caller ids and ate the money. Im sure those 2 runs the scam business and getting ready hard before to get ICEd.

I am the owner of Salud Total Corp for 15 years now. On Google, I had posted my business info and pics. On Saturday, May 10, 2025, a young couple came in asking me if I was a dispensary. I told them that this was an herbal supplement store. He told me that he googled it and my store came up. he showed me his cellphone and it was true. Whoever did this, has changed the store name to Salud Total Dispensary Recreational Delivery Store. They also included the following website: greendispensary.store which has an SMS number 1-929-708-9406 They also included photos that are not from my store. I contacted the local precinct and the police officer looked up my info and saw what I was talking about. She advised me not to get in contact with these people because we don't know who they may be and what they are capable of doing. She said they couldn't do anything because it is not an offense. She did tell me to report it to Google. I flagged and reported the photos to Google. Reported the incident and still waiting for their response. I have been getting people coming to the store asking for dispensary stuff. I want the information to be corrected, the photos removed, but most importantly the website. If people do not get the items ordered, they will come here and cause problems and I have nothing to do with it.

They were claiming to be associated with an actual business in California. But it turns out the business does not exist in this state (Burlington, VT) and the real business is in no way associated. They text messaged claiming they would deliver in 20 minutes asked for payment via AppleCash or Venmo. The AppleCash option didn't even work, which should have been our first clue, but have had similar issues with REAL businesses, so it didn't send a red flag. Then when we asked where they are, after the allotted time had passed, they said something about the order being processed as a Medical Card order instead of a recreational order. Then said they couldn't cancel the order or payment. We assume they were simply waiting for the payment to process, so they kept us "on the line".

They have no phone number and no email address. They are paying to have their page appear on google as well as falsely associating themselves with Zen Leaf dispensaries. They charged $267 for the delivery order and never sent confirmation. Then 24 hours later, charged another $267. They do not offer any ways to dispute or get a refund

This is evil. They claim to be a 24/7 medical marijuana dispensary. I ordered and there was no word of this company being a medical-only dispensary. Thankfully, I had a medical card. If not, I would have been cornered to pay $400 as an insurance fee. I've shopped at a lot of dispensaries on and offline (severe epilepsy) and nothing has ever been this sketchy. I only lost $60 but it could have been way worse if I wasn't so skeptical. This business needs to be shut down ASAP.

This guy is using a site and Facebook by jbsurronbikes (one word) and the address he has used comes up to a Gary Dewey's located at that address and a phone number that seems to be for OKIE FARMS DISPENSARY. He has somehow managed a following of 6000 people on his Facebook but the website is full of wrong information leading you to a circle. He said to come to the shop and when I called about the location saying I'm there but it's Gary Deweys he proceeded to hang up the phone and block my Facebook from cracking down on him.
