DO NOT USE SuperProf, it's a scam. It is supposed to connect you with tutors in your area to see if they will accept you as a student and THEN they charge you a fee. Well that was completely false! They would not even let me send a to the tutor before verifying the funds. Then they put a hold on them once the message was actually sent. Then right before the tutor refused to take me as a student they took the $49.98 out of my account. As if that wasnt bad enough they attempted to place me with another tutor who wasn't evem in the same state for in-person lessons. Obviously i requested a refund and wrote a review. They responded to the review but stopped replying when I asked about my refund. IT IS A SCAM! ALSO, do not believe the ads that say the first lesson is free. The last tutor wanted to charge me for gas money for the first lesson. It just happened to be as much as her listed hourly rate. Additionally, you cannot give a SuperProf review on the site. You can only leave a review for tutors. Don't do it.
