This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I keep getting an email claiming to be from FedEx saying my package was scheduled for delivery today but they need more information to get my package through “Costums (sic) clearance purposes.” They provide a tracking number and a Delivery Manager button they want me to click on (I didn’t.) At the bottom of the email is an option to be removed from the email list by a “click here” link or by writing to 616 Corporate Way Ste.2-9092 Valley Cottage, NY 10989. I should note I am currently not waiting on any packages for delivery.
