Received postcard "You are a finalist in our Viking river cruise giveaway plus first-class airfare for 2" with an invitation to a focus group. I confirmed within 48 hrs to receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card for my efforts plus a promise via offer code ZC0531 that I would receive one of 4 gifts described. Was told would be about 1 hour. My husband and I listened and participated but it was not suitable for our needs since they were advertising a membership not suitable for our current life situation and at a price we were not willing or able to pay. After 1hr. and 45 minutes, we were told we would find out about our prizes but instead were sent to a sales person who was very rude and hard sell and spoke to me as if I were an idiot for not purchasing. I was honest saying upfront we would not be making a purchase. He continued with more offers and sales attempts and gave his pitch despite my talking to once again explain why.....he kept talking even through my talking. He became sarcastic when I asked about the prize; he was claiming that was all I was interested in and didn't want to listen to him. I finally left the Zoom which disqualified me for any prizes, even the gift card for our time. I have attempted to make a formal complaint but without success via both numbers available: 346-223-6995 and 1-855-540-9664. Postcard states sponsored by PTCL, which is not associated with Viking River Cruise. Is Viking aware they are using their name to lure people??
