Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I received a suspicious email from someone claiming to be David Bower, Staffing Manager at a company called SynBio Therapeutic. The email stated that I was selected for a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep position and asked me to respond to a list of questions. It made exaggerated claims about income potential, didn’t require a degree, and referenced a vague website (https://synbio-inc.com) with little to no credible company information. It was sent via sendgrid.net, a mass email service, which raises further concerns. Upon researching, I couldn’t verify the company or the recruiter through any reputable source like LinkedIn, the FDA, or known pharma databases. The website appears to be a generic template with no legitimate drug pipeline or executive team listed. There is no proof that this company is a real pharmaceutical organization. It appears to be a potential scam designed to lure job seekers with fake job offers, possibly to later request payment for "training" or "certification." I am reporting this in case others are contacted by this same individual or organization under similar pretenses.
