Trying to make contact with Amazon. The phone number on the website brings you to Medicare. I told them this was the number given on Amazon website. 888-216-1072 is contact support for Amazon. The woman that answered the phone repeatedly tried to give away a call button. She said it’s part of their promotion. I said this is not what I am calling about. Why is this call directed to Medicare. Second time I went about trying to resolve my issue with Amazon I did a chat. I have the screenshot of the conversation. After giving them my phone number as well as my time describing my needs and chatting with this chat person, they wanted me to send one dollar. I refused and then could not proceed any further. I have proof of this in my screenshot. I do not understand what Amazon is trying to pull.
