I am reporting a scam involving the travel booking website Traveluro (https://www.traveluro.com). I recently used their platform to book a hotel in Naples, Italy. After completing the payment and finalizing the booking, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional €200 deposit directly to the hotel upon check-in—this charge was never disclosed at any stage of the booking process. This hidden fee was only revealed after my payment had been processed, which is a clear case of deceptive business practice. I attempted to contact their customer service multiple times via phone (+1 646-844-8798) and by submitting support tickets, but received no response whatsoever. Had I known about this undisclosed charge beforehand, I would not have booked through their platform. I believe this lack of transparency and complete lack of customer support constitutes a scam. I am requesting a full refund and urge relevant authorities to investigate Traveluro for deceptive practices.
