I bought a new car, a Volvo. I got a letter, scaring me saying that "our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contract.....By neglecting coverage you are at risk of being liable for any and all repairs etc. etc." They provided a number. 1877-501-1069, I thought I had already had coverage through dealership but I called and they talked a good game. "You have a luxury vehicle, the dealership doesn;t tell you about the mechanical coverage that your car requires, it's a computer on wheels...." It was going to be $400 a month, I got it down to 280 that they would charge me monthly. I gave my cc. I had weird feelings a called my dealership the next day and learned it was a scam. Had to cancel card etc. etc. It was awful...I have the letters. I keep getting them! And they call me. Who are these people. I want to stop them.
