I received a letter in the mail that appears to be from Toyota. However, I suspected it was a SCAM letter so I called the Toyota dealership where I purchased my car. I talked to the Finance Department and I described the letter I had received. Result … the agent at Toyota told me the letter was a scam and that I should throw it away. The document states … “THIS LETTER IS TO INFORM YOU: That if your factory warranty has expired, you will be Financially Liable for all repairs. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us to get your service contract up-to-date. You have the option to protect your vehicle beyond the factory warranty. Please call us at 1-888-307-2075 before 5/12/2025 to confirm your eligibility.” At the bottom of the one-page letter it states “All services contracts are through Evercare Direct.”
