Description
I received a letter by certified mail. The Arkansas seal is on the letter, and OIL & GAS COMMISSION is printed on it. It reads: NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR DIGITAL ASSET MINING PERMIT.
The next line reads: LEGAL DESCRIPTION.
Juicer-Tech, Inc. is listed as the owner and operator of the below-described property. It gives an address and GPS coordinates (the address listed is NOT mine).
So I researched them online — there is NO phone number on the letter. The research was VERY ODD. They are wanting to mine for crypto coins...???
I called the phone number I found online, and the first man I asked about this HUNG UP after I asked a few questions. I called back and got a woman, and she was trying to give me a $100.00 debit card if I paid $4.77 for shipping. She said if I paid with a bank account, it would be a $200.00 card.
I told her I was calling the Better Business Bureau to check them out, and she kept begging me to just pay the shipping for the card — and that's all I had to do.
I HUNG UP AND CALLED THE BBB to report a scam.
