Please do not book a flight with Hot Flight Deals. At first it seemed legit by getting emails verifying. On Jan. 27th I got an email verifying my booking. The email indicated that I would receive my ticket the second week in March. The second week of March came and went and no ticket. So I called the next week to be told that the airline had cancelled it due to overbooking. I asked when did this overbooking happen and when was I going to be notified as it was a week before my trip. They indicated it happened that day. Just so happens the day I called. I was not convinced. I then stated if I would have gotten my ticket last week when I was suppose to then I would not have been kicked from the flight. They did not listen and just told me that I would get my refund. I received an email on March 29th indicating that I would get a refund 7-10 business days or depending on my bank. I bank with State Employees which does very well with getting refunds processed. I did not get my refund so I waited and kept checking my bank. Nothing. I emailed twice and still nothing. Therefore, I called today which is now April 23rd. I asked to speak to a supervisor which the person was trying their best to pretend it was them. Finally, was able to speak to someone. They were not listen and kept repeating the same thing. They told me that it could take up to a month to process the refund. I again stated why then did no one get back to me when I emailed and told me. Why was there zero communication. I then asked that Hot Flight Deals to send me a copy of the recordings of my calls and my refund. They stated the could not send me copies of my recorded calls. I asked why not and they kept repeating the whole situation again and again. I finally hung up and then tried to speak to someone else. They told me that it would take another 15-22 business days. Unfortunately, I do not have hope that they will get that to me. So, I am trying to warn others. I came on this site to report this and did see the address they used on their email on this site. I called and left a message and hope someone can help me but also help anyone else that dealt with this company's scam.
