I received a text message about an interview with Talus Bioscience. Was asked by Jessica White if I had Microsoft Teams which I do. She said the HR hiring manager would contact me through there. Justin McCarthy contacted me and after a few questions told me I was hired and would be sending me a cashier's check. He would be in contact with me the next morning. After messaging him I decided to do my own research and Talus Bioscience (the actual company) will not contact you via text about a job. I did not reply to his message the next morning and I did receive a cashier's check for $4890.18 via UPS the next day. The check was from a totally different person John Halas from De Moines, IA and the package came from Pennsylvania. Luckily I didn't do anything with the check. I still have it the check is dated April 10, 2025.
