I originally applied to a legitimate-looking job through LinkedIn, but it then took me to a different hiring company agency. I don't remember which one, as several legit companies do this. After applying, I immediately got an email back from the email address listed. Still, the email was obscured by the name Terri Langley that I didn't see until this morning (4/21/25) that stated: "Thank you for applying for our position! After reviewing your information, we would like to ask that you use the following link to view a short video that will give you information about our company, and help you decide if you would like to move forward with us! Link to video: https://joinnow.live/s/QiXU81 After you have viewed the video, there will be a link provided to allow you to schedule an interview with us. Terri Langley Global Elite Empire Hiring Team" I watched about a minute and a half of the video, and it was a man sitting in a general-looking office space at a desk talking about the purpose of the video and what the video would cover. The company name was never said, and it kept talking about how the company video will go into depth about what the company does, and the history of the company. I stopped listening after that because it didn't feel right. On my resume, which was submitted, I have my phone number and address listed, which is not great. I've looked everywhere online for more mentions of this company and can't find anything. If it's too easy to apply, maybe think twice about hitting submit.
