I saw some shoes online that I was familiar with. The price was discounted and I thought perhaps this was because it was last year's style. I ordered a pair in the size and color I wanted. When they arrived they were a different color and instead of being leather they were some sort of plastic made to look like leather. I immediately emailed the company stating that I wanted to return them (no telephone number was available on their website). Their website stated that the return policy was within 30 days and a full refund would be given, no questions asked. Customer service wrote back that they would give me back 20% of my money. I protested and they offered 30% and then 35% or I could mail the shoes back to China which they said was cost prohibitive. I wrote that I received the shoes from 5251 S. Boyle Avenue, Vernon, CA. They responded saying they didn't have a local warehouse in the United States. All the reviews on Orthowalk's website were glowing. I decided to look at other things on the web and found so many comments about this company being a scam. Of course I didn't see these comments prior to placing my order. I have saved all of my emails from them and my responses. I also have the sandals and the original package they came in. I am not sure what you can do about this but I have written to you to see if they can be stopped doing business on the web. I have contacted the fraud department at my credit card company about this and they are opening an investigation. Thank you for anything you can do to stop this scam, ******* ******
