Guy's real name is Goul Wardak known as Adam. In month of November 2024 he came over to my place to give me estimate for renovations of the washroom. He was going to buy the tub,faucets, tiles, vanities, shower glass door. In the contract he promised to finish the job in 8 to 10 days. Out of those 10 days he showed up 4 days for 3 to 4 hours only. Before he started demolition he wanted the money. Under the contract I was supposed to pay after he finished demolition. Every day he would tell me he will come at 9 am shows at 2 pm leaves by 6 pm. Then he changed his contract payment plan after putting the tiles which started to crack in 5 days. I wanted him to finish the work so I started buying lunches for them. Gave him money so he can get all the things he promised. He started the job on Dec 11th. On Dec 24th i paid him another $5k for the job he didn't finish yet. He claimed he doesn't have money to pay his guys and have no money for food. I gave him money with good faith that he will finish the job. He didn't show up till Jan 3rd. He picked his stuff and left and then he sends me a text that he doesn't want to work anymore as it is toxic environment??? The tiles were cracking by the time of Dec 24th to Jan 3rd. Do not allow these guys to come close to your place. Also his friend went to other rooms to check if I have any valuable in the house. Big scammers. Please stay away from them.
