Description
I saw an ad for cheap band t-shirts on Facebook. I clicked on the ad and ordered some shirts for my wife and me. Paid with a credit card. Total was roughly $36. After a month, the order had still not arrived and the sketchy tracking site said it had reached my town but not my house yet. It finally updated to “delivered” today but I did not receive a package. I’ve had an email exchange with the customer service email address and it’s quite clear from their wording that it is likely a scam. The credit card that I paid with was also hacked two weeks ago and some fraudulent charges were made that were not mine. My guess is that this whole t-shirt thing was a scam and it was how my credit card information was stolen. The shirts were supposedly coming from China. It was never made completely clear where the “company” is based, but the shirts were supposedly coming from China. Moral of the story: If you see an ad for shirts for $2.50, it’s most likely too good to be true.
