Responded to email of job offer for a personal assistant to Dr. Nicholas Jehle doing research in Canada for 3 months. Job description stated he need help with handling correspondence, filing, scheduling of his calendar, and acceptance of research book deliveries.. Pay was $750 a week for remote work for 2 to 3 days a week. He texted letting me know he was senfing a check for me to pay for sending him his research deliveries. Thos was done without me accepting the job or bring officially hired. The check arrived within 2 days after my initial contract with him. He wanted me to deposit check and pay for deliveries and send him the rest.
