Lava Events posted job and internship positions on ***. After submitting an application I received an automated text and email claiming to be from someone named Ariana asking to set up a zoom interview the following day and sending me a link to confirm the interview. I confirmed 30 minutes later and was immediately sent another email and text once again claiming to be Ariana confirming the details. Upon further evaluation of the website, I couldn’t find any information on their address, clients, projects, or employees just the contact info that was used to email and text me. In their website they claim their clients include*** *** *** *** among other well established companies, yet there is no information or confirmation from any other sources besides this page. I then began digging further and found a ***thread along with multiple “story time” videos on social media exposing the company as a scam/“devilcorp”.
