The scammer used TikTok as a vehicle to present items for sale. When you click on their product it takes you to page that appears legitimate to finalize your purchase. An order invoice number is generated on the spot for your records as well as one being emailed to you. The email invoice does not have any form of usable information such as tracking package number, the address of the business, where the products I purchased is coming from, etc. The email copy of the invoice gives you a link back to their “store” which does not appear like the original page I was directed when purchasing my item via TikTok. To contact this business, you can only email someone at “[email protected]” if you want to follow up with any questions or concerns. No one replies. Usually when I buy from sellers in TikTok, I get a detailed receipt and is kept on TikTok Shop under my personal items. This did not happen. This “vendor” is using TikTok as a doorway to draw victims out with all the markings of appearing legitimate until it’s too late and they’ve got your money, card info, email, shipping address and phone number. I noticed my receipt on my Apple Cash the money went through a foreign currency exchange system and the memo was for something else “ClothesGem”. If I had to guess, I think this was a China or India group scam.
