Description

Sports Card Market is a front. This group of scammers cloned the database of a legitimate Monrovia California-based company that has been established in the trading card business for over 40 years. In speaking with the owner of the legitimate business Hall of Fame baseball cards he gets several calls a day with people discussing this situation. Sports Card Market has extremely deeply discounted versions of popular baseball basketball football and other trading cards that are in demand by collectors and trading card enthusiasts. Several transactions went through and several were rejected upon emailing the customer service at this scammer company. I did not expect a reply. I was shocked 24 hours later after canceling my credit card that someone from the scam actually customize an email and replied to me I am attaching it here for your reference with my name redacted. The reply came from the email address that I listed on your form - [email protected] Here is the reply - Thank you for reaching out. Due to a high volume of orders, the payment system may have experienced an issue processing all transactions. Please provide me with your order number, and for the remaining items that were not processed, I can arrange a cash on delivery (COD) option for you. Let me know how you’d like to proceed, and I’ll be happy to assist.
