I received an UNSOLICITED Text message about a “job offer” providing ratings & Reviews for YouTube Videos. This is actually the 2nd kind of text I have received in the last month. The other was almost identical, but claimed to be for Temu. Here is the text- My name is Lisa, and I’m from “ALLSTARSIT” This is a simple online remote position where you can earn money by watching and liking videos on YouTube. You could potentially earn between $50 and $500 per day. The company requires applicants to be over 23 years old. Would you be interested in learning more? I’d be happy to share the details with you on WhatsApp. Please BE AWARE… these are 100% scammers. They will recruit you to “sign up” for a “job” and once you complete their “training”, you will quickly realize that they will ASK YOU to deposit money of your own to earn the “commissions” from these fake jobs (rating or reviewing products). They will then ask you to deposit money via Crypto (which they are happy to teach you how). Once they accomplish this, they will then ask you to TOP UP (deposit more money) to earn the “bigger commission” items. These people have NO SHAME in taking whatever they can from you. Do NOT EVER leave your SMS text program to go to WhatsApp. This is how they keep their identity secret & expose yours for the highest bidder.
