We were looking on websites that offered Corgis. We found Wrinkly Corgi Dogs and reached out through their website. We said we were interested in two different puppies and they contacted us through email, from [email protected], listed under Unconditional Love. We sent emails back and forth multiple times discussing the puppies, the time frame of adoption and logistics of getting the animals to us from Arkansas. There was the discussing of money, filing paperwork through a lawyer for ownership transfer and the proof of breeding papers. They sent us pictures of the 10 week old puppies and after a reverse picture lookup the exact pictures showed up on other platforms from 2021. When we tried contacting the people on the side, from other names and emails that were given, instead of only through the website we found they were all fake and not associated with the Wrinkly Corgi Dogs website. Unfortunately we had already sent a deposit of $500.00 to hold the puppies. We contacted our bank and opened an investigation.
