This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
When reviewing my medical EOBs I found a claim from a company called Sunny and Recovery, Inc for orthopedic medical equipment. I have never needed or used any of that type of equipment. Thankfully my insurance company denied the claim. I also notified them that this claim is not mine or affiliated with me. However the company appears to be a legitimate business in the State of Florida.
