I applied for a job through Indeed.com to EcoWay Voyagers. I received the following email: Hi xxx, We hope you're doing well. While the position you applied for has already been filled, after reviewing your resume and past work experience, we believe you could be an excellent match for another remote position we currently have available. We’d love for you to schedule a meeting with our founder to discuss the role, compensation, and learn more about our company. You can select a time slot here: https://calendly.com/d/cmyr-pcs-fzz Important: After scheduling, please reply to this email to confirm your meeting time. We’re excited to connect with you and learn more about how you could be a great addition to our team! Best regards, The Hiring Team I scheduled the meeting, but the email was kicked back and I was later sent a text message with my zoom meeting link. When I joined, there were 88 people on the call, a few with their cameras and many without. My camera and mic were locked so I couldn't ask questions or use my camera. At this time, he said their company was called SVH Travel and was in California (EcoWay is listed in Colorado). I raised my hand in the meeting and was told I couldn't ask questions so I typed into the chat which could only be seen by the presenter and asked why the name was different. He said, I'll answer questions later. I typed "this is a scam" and he removed me from the call. In researching the company, the presenter and all employees' photos are on the website and appear to be Armenian. Website: SVHtravel.com. Founder is listed as Vic Sarkisyan.
