Ad posted on Facebook claiming 90% off everything. Name on ad was Fabric&Yarn Closeout, took me to website www.joann-fabricsale.com. Looks very much like actualJoann website. After making purchase, got what looked like legit confirmation saying conf email would be sent shortly. Immediately rcvd text & email from my bank asking if it was fraudulent purchase. Should have looked closer at fine print in fake website. On fake site, green bar at top of page flashes "Clearance Sale - 80% Off Everything" (different from FB ad touting 90% off) & "Free Shipping Over $50." Facebook ad text begins: "We are truly grateful for your love and support for our stores . . ." And text includes incorrectly placed commas, extra spaces. WHOIS Registration Details Registration Date: 2/25/26 Nameservers: hugh.ns.cloudflare.com & kimora.ns.cloudflare.com Registrar: Cloud Yugu LLC IANA ID: 3824 Abuse Email: [email protected] Registrant, Administrative & Technical Contact Details: all private registration, country CN I will submit scan domain name to registrar. Have notified Facebook of fraudulant ad.
