I work for a debt resolution company and had a potential client call in the line to see what their options might be to get out of debt. They informed me that they had recently signed up with a company called Card Shield. This company misled my now.Client to believe that they were going to resolve her debts. They set her up on a thirty six month program, paying almost two hundred and fifty dollars a month. At no point, did they ever intend to pay out my client's creditors or even contact them on her behalf. Their marketing tactics are misleading and a complete lie. All they do is send you templates, so you can take care of your debts yourself. They don't actually do any work for their clients that they take on. This site that they run for their business has only been active for 6 months. As far as I could tell from their website and the limited amount of information about this company, they are just scammers, looking to take advantage of people who don't know any better. They called my client out of nowhere and led her to believe that they were going to be able to resolve her debts if she just paid this monthly fee to them. They never emailed her a contract and when she told them she wanted to cancel a month after enrollment, they did cancel her contract, but refused to refund heard the month payment that she paid because they claim they earned that money. This company needs to be shut down. They are misrepresenting themselves and should not be allowed to get people's personal or financial bank information because who knows how they're going to use it in the future.
