I ordered a product from aldoshoesusa.com using a credit card via Paypal. When I clicked “pay”, the website redirected to one and then another website, eventually with the words “Oops - something went wrong.” I received a receipt from Paypal. The charge was immediately listed as pending on my credit card; the next day the charge had gone through. I received three emails from three different email addresses ([email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]); these emails said that I had left something in my cart and that I should pay promptly, offering me a 20% discount on my order. There was no email indicating that I had ordered the product or that my credit card had been charged. As I was suspicious about the situation, I did not click any of the links in the emails. I did respond to one of the emails, but received no response. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and have been refunded the money.
