Feb 26,2025 They contacted me via email ([email protected]) offer me a slot for an interview via Teams. They sent me this link for the interview (https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FEAgd7H5v17ZJEAAh0). The interview was via Teams' chat on Feb 27,2025 ( [email protected]). Their excused for it to be just via chat was that the job position was totally remote, I didnt need to show my face. I follow their lead. Answer every questions, I made some questions, everything appeared to be legit. One question was the first red flag, did I knew BTC and if I used it. Im from Puerto Rico, so, all my info is from the island. They asked if I had a US address and a bank account with a US bank. I didnt gave DOB, SSN nor bank accounts numbers. I already change my passwords. They "gave me the job". They sent me a hire letter for me to signed. I signed it (my bad), but it doesnt asked for personal information. Everything looked legit but too good to be true. So, today (Feb 28,2025) I called the company asking about some details they told me via chat. The company personnel confirmed that their system was hacked, and that there wasnt any job offer. I already asked them about the issue of the US address. They gave me this really convincing BS. Next thing, I was saying to them... "wow, thats nice, but, the thing is that today I called the company and they told me there was no job...." and I contacted cybercrimes ;) Just right there, they erased everything...
