Description

I tried to purchase a Beagle puppy, and the breeder requested payment for shipping. I was then informed that the puppy had been dropped off at the freight service. After a while, I was contacted by the freight company, which stated there would be a $1,000 fee for shipping insurance. I paid $750, as the breeder had already paid $250 of the $1,000 fee. I tracked the puppy and saw that it had a delivery scheduled for February 19th at 4 PM. However, shortly before 4 PM, I received an email saying the puppy was on hold in Chattanooga, TN, and that I would need to pay a $2,000 city permit fee required by customs in order to proceed. I refused to pay this fee. Now, they are threatening me with legal action for animal abuse.
