Description

I wanted to apply for Global Entry because my credit card gave me that perk. I went to google without realizing that I had clicked in a non-official site that looks very similar to the official one. I filled out the application with comprehensive information about myself including passport number and my addresses for the last 5 years. When it was time to pay, the fee, which in the official site is of 120 dollars, did not match with what I was getting charged (149.99). In addition, they also charged me a fee for expedite processing of 120 dollars. I paid this with the credit card I was supposed to get the benefit from. The names of the merchants as they appear on the card charges are: “Apply Global Entry” (149.99) and “United States Government Agency” (120.00).
