My boyfriend was scrolling through Facebook and got an ad about Boot Barn doing a massive sale with prices that were too good to be true, but we were excited and blinded by the prices, so we went on the website through Facebook and shopped around for awhile, then came to check out and make an account and it wouldn’t let me make an account. I thankfully didn’t put any card information in, but I’ve done some research on the company and others have put their card information in and didn’t receive any items. The url for the website said tintcloser.com instead of Bootbarn.com so that’s when it clicked. Went back to their website after we figured out it was a scam and did some research and their website went back to normal and has their branding on it now and everything. So they must have a subcategory in their website they hide and make look like Boot Barn, but when you actually go to their website on your own (not through an ad) then it shows their own branding and apparel.
