I reported yesterday about e-mail scam for announce the winner of prizes. Today, when I was using my MacBook for looking for something, I suddenly got a message and voice on my laptop said my computer hacked, it locked, do not attempt to turn off and call us immediately with a siren kind of noise and she kept saying this for some minutes and my screen had some error messages and flashing so I had to call this 1-888 349 6787 number for Mac help because the screen said Mac and this number. Then Indian diarect guy picked up the phone and I did not understood so I asked him who it is, he said something with Windows. He said he is from Windows. I started to explain what is going on while my MacBook making siren noise but I found something strange, I clicked my screen and I could turn off the Safari and my computer started correct again, by the time I could make it, this guy hung up. Then I got 2 different calls soon after the guy hung up and I did not pick up. 205-466-7917 804-606-8790 So they know my number. I often get potential scam number and I always nevet pick up the unknown number and block them. But this laptop scam attempt was my first time and because of the siren like noise from my laptop made me panicky. So I reported today again.
