I booked a flight online after comparing prices and being informed that Fareporto is a booking agency for Southwest airlines, I felt comfortable choosing Fareporto booking agency. On 1/29/25, I was contacted by message and return the call & spoke with a rep. The rep spoke with me and my fiancé on a three way to ensure no misunderstanding. We were told that the flight was nonrefundable, and we needed to confirm our date which was 2/22/25. We both agreed to this date and purchased the ticket for this date and time. The following day I received a call from a rep who stated his name: Weyne informing me that Southwest Airlines had rejected my ticket due to no available seats, and my flight had been changed to 2/28/2025. I had also received an email from Fareporto booking. He informed me for $30 more Southwest airlines has agreed to make me a seat available. Me being on a fixed disability income requested my money back due to not being able to afford the new price and having a medical procedure was inconvenient date. I was told I would not be able to cancel, and I had been given a new date and that was final. I cried and called the official Southwest Airlines Office. I found out 50 plus seats were available and this company does not do any bookings for Southwest Airlines. In fact, the Southwest Rep. never heard of Fareporto booking and could not locate this co. The rep attempted to locate my reservation confirmation # and it wasn't in their system. I lost my funds and to my understanding I will never receive my funds back. A Southwest Airline rep. informed me to always check the co. logo and when I did it states Southwest airlines, but the logo is totally different pattern coloring. The email address is not from an actual internet site and these people can barely speak English. My Booking Reference Number is PFNJRN from Fareporto is not a litigable confirmation number. Folks, please pay attention because I have been robbed, and they have my card number. I am at a loss Fareporto robbed the disabled/low income. Always go the official cite.
