Description
I received an email stating my "ICloud" subscription was due and it need ed to be paid by 1/15/2025 and the menu would take you to the payment screen which was suppose to be $1.99 but when you got there it charged you $9.95 but I decided to pay anyway. Next you put in you credit card (debit) information and wait a few seconds for it to clear but it comes back with a message "this card can not be used at this time"or something to that effect so I decided to try again later and that evening I got the same message and I knew I have a sufficient balance to cover this charge. Shortly after I was checking my bank account and found $14.95 charged about the time I was trying to pay this --one to "Marketing by Lift" phone 8669207128 CA and the other to "HappyHowls EBooks, Plainfiedl,IL. I called (my daughter ended up talking to a person name Eric" asking for a refund, he argued but promised to refund the " Marketing by Lift" $14.95 in 7 to 10 days. I do not have a phone # for the other $14.95 but I know it is tied to the same group. My daughter stated to the Eric person that we would be contacting BB and only then did the promised to refund the $14.95. If you can help, please stop these people from robbing anyone else. I know now that I should not have clicked on the email but I like to keep my bills paid and I used my computer for myself and the church. I appreciate anything you can do.
