Description

I found a sponsored Ad on facebook for Wayfair furniture. I clicked, it brought me to a website that looked very much like Wayfair. No indication there was a scam. I purchased a chair. My bank card was charged as "Romorywsusd 631 W. Main Street, Sterling CO" for $49 dollars. The confirmation email has a link to view the order status, but the website isn't secure and Google flagged it as a Phishing website. The phone number to this location (970) 522-0260 was a valid number to a company at this address by the name of "Shipping and Stuff". The woman who answered the phone explained that there is a scammer using their address on credit card transactions and that authorities have been notified, because they get frequent phone calls about this. She said its a definite scam.

cannot find original website, my internet blocks it for security purposes and describes the website as a "Phishing" website and security breach. I can say that I was shopping around on Facebook Marketplace and clicked a Sponsored "Wayfair" advertisement. This is where I made my purchase
