Same day or next day service offered. Came on Saturday. Gentleman pulled up in unmarked truck with headlights taped on to his truck. Problem described to person. He never looked at equipment, just started telling me how old the existing equipment was, how heavy my garage door was (which it is not) and never tested or checked existing equipment. Quote was for replacement at $1900.00 dollars for overhead unit...no door included. When I said that was too much he lowered price to $1200.00. l went inside to call for advice and when I returned to garage he had removed the overhead install and cut the cables. I told him to stop and replace the equipment. He said he couldn't, got in his truck and started to leave. I gave him $25.00 for his stop and he left. Wish I had gotten his license plate # or more information. I had entered "garage door repair near me" in my browser and Hexagon came up right away. Felucca came. Told me this was a scam and it happens mostly over the weekends. I called Hexagon after Felucca left and when I asked where their physical location was located they said they didn't have one and would just send someone out to my house. Happy I didn't pay them anymore, however now I have to get the garage door fixed. The new install will be over $600.00 and it may have just been a new part to my already existing machine. Live and learn.
