Description

Purchased car warrant-had to request twice the contract- only received a one page explanation with a web site. Phone salesman told me transmissions tend to go out in Nissans after 100,000 miles at which time I had approximately 89,000 miles on my car. I purchased it just in case that was the case and now they’re refusing to pay they want two years oil changes and I’ve had a grandson do my oil changes and they will not accept that in speaking with their ASAP certified mechanics. I was told that oil changes have nothing to do with the transmission and they did not know why they were requesting it. I’ve had to hire a lawyer. It took them one week after my car was hauled to the Nissan dealership in Tuscaloosa for them to respond that they were not going to Pay. My car had been there for a week and I lost jobs and had to be at the mercy of family members to take me to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, etc.. The salesman never mentioned anything about oil changes and I did not find out about that until September October. I had my car serviced in October when I noticed a skip and was told it was the oil so I had it changed a few months later it started skipping again and that’s when I took it in and found out. It was my transmission. They are saying I did not have it service properly. They sold me goods that they did not deliver on I’m 72 years old and I feel like I was taking advantage of because of my age.
