Description
Responded to website www.beefyrotweilerdoberman.com for doberman puppy. Lots of email exchanges including purchase contract, contact info, their offer to ship the puppy, etc. Deposit made and date for pick up set. Guessing they preferred to ship to get more $ but, when we shared plans to drive to get puppy, we get emails with excuses of why this has to be delayed (family emergency) and offer to ship puppy right away. Got suspicious and Googled the site and at www.petscams.com saw info that this is indeed a scam. Names they associated with payments are: Robert Javier ([email protected] (PayPal) and Kyla Fells @kyywitt2ys (Venmo). They use the phone (214) 487-6863 and the address of 719 N Mdison Avenue, Dallas TX 75208 in the puppy purchase contract.
