Description

The robot is advertised on the net with arms that move above it's head, the hands can catch small objects. They show a video of the robot climbing a small ladder, they are so versatile, it will move with hand gestures and match your movements, and catches small objects in it's hand. On the box it comes in it shows a robot with arms up near the head, and one foot raised. When we received it, it actually only moves it's arms back and forth, and legs don't lift off the ground, no small object catching, no ladder climbing.and was a very disappointing Christmas gift. I sent an email and complained about the false advertising and how dissappointed we were. Customer Service offered us a refund of $8 and we could keep the robot. They never defended the product or said it was defective. It was obvious that they knew it was a scam, and not only didn't care, but never defended their product. When I sent a second email saying that this was unacceptable, they sent a second email repeating their offer, but did finally send the address of where it could be sent back. There was a notice by the address that it would cost $50 to $80 dollars to return it, so we would be much better off just keeping it. This is the address that they sent to return it. Room 906, R&D Complex Building, Baoyunda Logistics Center, Baoan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China Zip code: 518102 Contact: SIbei Xiao Phone No.:13692256065 I checked with the USPO and the cost was estimated at over $30. Because there was a $10 shipping fee, non refundable, we have decided to just keep it. This company is very aware that the robot didn't work and purposly scammed us. We sure would to get a robot that worked like they said it did and also get the 101 page book of instructions instead of the single page we did receive. My hope is that I can warn others so they won't be scammed and very disappointed the way we were.
