I recently received a deceptive letter from a company called 'PROPERTY SITE' after transferring my house title to a living trust. This letter demands a $123.00 service fee to obtain a copy of my 'Property Assessment Profile.' This is a clear scam, as the information they claim to provide is readily available from public records at no cost. It's designed to prey on unsuspecting homeowners, especially those unfamiliar with property records. I urge others to be vigilant and disregard any similar solicitations from 'PROPERTY SITE' or other companies offering similar services. This type of predatory behavior should not be tolerated. I believe strong action should be taken against these companies to prevent them from exploiting homeowners and profiting from publicly available information.
