I received an email with a job offer after applying for a few companies online for a remote job. I went through the interview process through Telegram. After the interview I was advised I would hear something by the end of the business day. Like the other job I was contacted within the hour. I received my job offer and was advised that I would receive a check that I need to deposit into my bank account. I received the check the next day via FedEx. I waited a few days before going to the bank to get the check deposited into my account. I got to the back and as they called to verify the check, it came back as being a fake account. I reached out to the company to let them know the check was not valid and have not got a response back I see they read my message but did not reply back. I still have the check.
